Fire permits are required for any resident within the Brewster city limits, the cost is $30.00 and is good from Oct 1st thru April 30th. The permit is not valid when a county wide fire ban is in effect.

Remarks: Please notify Okanogan County the day of your burn by calling 509-422-7232 or 1-800-572-6604. If you have a written permit, burning is allowed subject to the conditions listed under the low fire danger rating. Rule burns are allowed for forest debris from property that is not improved. Campfires are also allowed. However, campfires are not allowed on state land except in DNR campground. This message is effective December 20, 2011 at 1000 hours and will remain in effect until further notice.
